The head of Israeli intelligence ("Mossad") David Barnea promised that the service would make more efforts to overthrow the government of Iran. This was reported by Bloomberg, informs UNN.

According to Barnea, Israel did not expect that its bombing of Iranian military, nuclear, and infrastructure facilities, carried out jointly with the United States, would be sufficient to end Iran's 47-year clerical rule.

According to the publication, Barnea's comments indicate that the Israelis still see a serious threat from Iran, despite the damage inflicted on its military potential by the approximately five-week campaign of the US-Israel alliance.
"The speech could also exacerbate friction between US and Iranian officials as they seek to extend a ceasefire that expires next week and reach a more permanent peace agreement," the authors conclude.
