It is reported that recently the Ministry of Health Order No. 1200 of July 10, 2024 abolished another 30 paper forms and documents. Now, healthcare professionals need to duplicate less and less information on paper, as it is stored centrally in the electronic healthcare system (EHS).
"The gradual digitalization of the healthcare sector will allow us to form a single digital medical space in which patients' medical information will be stored centrally and protected," the Ministry of Health emphasized.
To date, more than 3 billion electronic medical records have reportedly been entered into the EHS, the central element of eHealth. "Thus, medical information on consultations, vaccinations, examinations, surgeries and hospitalizations, diagnostics, etc. is stored in a single secure place," the Ministry of Health said.
