According to estimates by the Ministry of Economy, gross domestic product growth in January and February was 3.6%. This was reported by the First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, according to UNN .

In January-February, we estimate GDP growth at 3.6% y-o-y. Several factors contributed to this growth, including investment demand, favorable weather conditions for construction works, agricultural exports, the work of the Ukrainian sea corridor, the expansion of production capacity in the mining industry, and stability in the energy sector
According to her, thanks to positive indicators in key sectors of the economy, the agency expects steady growth for the entire first quarter.
