The Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Mykola Solsky has resigned. The Verkhovna Rada received his resignation letter.
Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solsky has resigned. The Verkhovna Rada received a corresponding statement. This was reported by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, UNN reports.
"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received a statement from Mykola Solsky about his resignation from the post of Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The application will be considered at one of the nearest plenary meetings," Stefanchuk said.
In the statement, Solsky asks for his dismissal in accordance with the first clause of the first part of Article 18 of the law "On the Cabinet of Ministers".

Today, after the adjournment announced the day before, the High Anti-Corruption Court returned to consider the selection of a preventive measure against the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi, who is suspected of seizing state property by land.
Yesterday, the court could not choose a preventive measure for Solsky, postponing the case.
On April 23, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced that the ex-chairman of the Verkhovna Rada's Agrarian Committee, a current minister, was exposed for expropriating state land worth 291 million hryvnias and attempting to expropriate land for another 190 million hryvnias
As the UNN source reported, it is about Mykola Solskyi, who currently holds the post of Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
