The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has introduced the practice of submitting declarations for medical practice through the unified portal of public services "Diia", which allows military units to obtain permits to provide medical care on the front line in a convenient and efficient way, eliminating the need for paperwork and human contact with officials.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is introducing the practice of submitting a medical declaration through the unified portal of public services "Diia". This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Details

The Ministry explains that in this way military units whose servicemen take part in combat operations or perform combat missions can use a convenient and simple mechanism for obtaining a permit for medical practice.

The system is working, and the first declarations have already been submitted through the Diia portal. This greatly simplifies the process, which previously required collecting a large package of documents and waiting for a decision from the Ministry of Health

- said Natalia Kalmykova, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

She also explained that this procedure now takes only a few minutes, allowing military units to efficiently and promptly obtain the necessary permits to provide medical care at the front line.

According to her, the submission of  electronic declarations through the Diia portal is a continuation of the government's policy of digitalization and elimination of corruption risks, as it eliminates the need for human contact with officials.

In addition, if the commander of the military unit changes, the declaration remains valid. I also emphasize that the declaration will be valid until the end of martial law + 3 months after its termination

- summarized Kalmykova

Recall

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has signed another memorandum with the Pulse Charitable Foundation to assist in tactical medical training of military personnel.
