Man killed by grenade explosion in Holosiivskyi district, police establishing circumstances

A man was killed by shrapnel wounds, allegedly from a grenade explosion, near a garage cooperative in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, and police opened a criminal investigation into the incident.
At about 6 a.m., the Holosiivskyi police department received a report that explosions had occurred near one of the garage cooperatives. At the scene, the body of a local resident was found with shrapnel wounds, probably from a grenade. Criminal proceedings have been initiated, the Kyiv police said, UNN reports .

It is noted that at about 6 a.m., the Holosiivskyi Police Department received a report that explosions had occurred near one of the garage cooperatives. The investigative team of the territorial police department, the capital's police department, explosives experts and medics immediately went to the address. At the scene, they found the body of a man with shrapnel wounds, probably from a grenade.
The victim was identified as a local resident born in 1968.
The Investigative Department of the Holosiivskyi Police Department initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 115 with additional qualification of suicide of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident,
