Rebels in Mali have captured mercenaries of the Wagner PMC and offer to hand them over to Ukraine as a sign of solidarity.
Tuareg rebels in Mali, who captured soldiers from the private military company Wagner, want to hand over the prisoners to Ukraine to strengthen ties and win a common victory. They stated this on their page X, UNN reports.
Dear Ukrainian brothers and sisters! We, the armed forces of the CSP-DPA, want to express our solidarity with your struggle against Russian criminals. We have captured a significant number of Wagner mercenaries and would like to hand over these prisoners to you as a sign of support and solidarity. This gesture is aimed at helping you in your struggle for justice and freedom. We hope that this will contribute to strengthening our ties and our common victory,

In northern Mali, near the border with Algeria, Tuareg rebels claimed to have killed and wounded dozens of soldiers and mercenaries from the Wagner PMC group during two days of clashes. This comes after the Malian army reported the loss of two of its soldiers and the killing of approximately 20 rebels.
