in the church of Velyka Starytsia village, Boryspil district, Kyiv region.

Leonid Sandulyak was born on March 8, 1937 in the village of Kozyryany (now
Kelmenets district, Chernivtsi region). He was a scientist in the field of histology,
endocrinology, ecology and valeology, Doctor of Medicine, Professor.
In addition, he is also the author of 150 scientific works, including
five monographs and a textbook on human ecology. He worked at the Institute of
of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education in the Chernivtsi region.
At the same time, Sanduliak was also distinguished by his active public
political and diplomatic activities. It was he who, together with Levko Lukyanenko, was
co-authored the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine. He was also
the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Romania.
