In the Kharkiv region, a forest is burning near the combat zone; forestry workers are extinguishing the fire in accessible areas, reported SE "Forests of Ukraine," according to UNN.

A forest fire broke out on the territory of the Artemivske forestry of the Izyum forest district. Due to severe drought, wind, and proximity to the combat zone, the fire is spreading rapidly across forest areas. Currently, the fire area covers 10 hectares,

- the SE reported on social media on Friday.

As indicated, the fire was detected by forestry workers of the Slobozhanska branch of SE "Forests of Ukraine," who promptly arrived at the scene of the blaze.

"Equipment and personnel from the forest district and the State Emergency Service have been deployed to fight the fire. Due to the high level of danger, forestry firefighters can only extinguish the fire in certain areas. The safety of employees comes first," the statement reads.

In addition, it is reported that "another fire broke out in the same forestry area covering 1.5 hectares."
