Details

Today, a large-scale fire broke out in Mykolaiv in an open area with an estimated area of 30 hectares. Firefighters from the city's SES units are working at the scene.

The process of extinguishing the fire is very complicated due to several factors: the lack of access to the burning areas, tall vegetation, and the danger associated with potential contamination of the territory with explosive objects. There is a threat of an explosive detonation, which greatly complicates the work of rescuers.

Despite the difficult conditions, the situation is currently under control. Unmanned aerial vehicles have been deployed to monitor the fire from the air to help assess the extent of the fire and plan further actions.

According to preliminary data, there is no threat to the housing sector.
