"The list of villains set to star in the Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films film "Masters of the Universe" now includes Jared Leto, Sam C. Wilson, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, and Kōjirō Atta. Leto will play Skeletor, Wilson will play Trap Jaw, Björnsson will play Goat Man, and Atta has been cast as Tri-Klops. They join Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Skeletor's second-in-command", the publication reports.
Previously announced hero roles include Nicholas Hoult as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms.
The plot details are being kept under wraps, but the concept is focused on the character of Prince Adam of Eternia, who through his power sword transforms into the muscular He-Man and is imbued with superhuman strength and abilities.
Travis Knight will be directing the film, which is set to be released in theaters worldwide on June 5, 2026.
