Iran partially restores internet access after longest shutdown in history
Kyiv • UNN
Iran has partially restored internet access after a record 88-day blackout. President Pezeshkian ordered the restoration of access to the international network.

The partial restoration of internet connectivity in Iran was the result of the government lifting the block. This was stated by Iran's Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, reports UNN with reference to Sky News.
"The first step towards free and regulated access to cyberspace has been taken," Mohammad Reza Aref wrote in a post on X.
He added that this means "the demands of the people who supported the system and Iran will be met."
