In Sumy, kindergartens were recommended to switch to remote operation amid intensified shelling by the Russian army. For parents who are unable to shelter their children at home, emergency groups will be created in kindergartens. This was stated by the head of the Sumy city military administration, Oleksiy Drozdenko, on Suspilne TV channel, UNN reports .
Yesterday, there was a military-level commission on emergency situations and considered the issue of transferring kindergartens to a remote mode and forming emergency groups. The situation is that parents have started to apply because their children spend a lot of time in shelters. Those who have the opportunity not to take their children to kindergartens and stay at home in safer conditions were considered and made a positive decision. Therefore, kindergartens are recommended to switch to remote operation and create regular groups for those parents who cannot be with their children
According to him, over the past week, Russian troops have been shelling Sumy more often compared to the previous month, but not as often as the border area.
"Last week we set anti-records in terms of missile and KABS attacks on our border. The most impressive figure was on Wednesday, when 55 cases of KABS use were recorded along our border," said the head of the Sumy MVA.
