In Kyiv, law enforcement officers have notified a young woman of suspicion, who is suspected of producing fake medical documents for the families of those liable for military service. Based on such certificates, men arranged deferments from military service for caring for "seriously ill" relatives. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

Details

According to the prosecutor's office, a 23-year-old resident of Kyiv has been notified of suspicion of committing actions aimed at obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"It has been established that the suspect, acting in collusion with other individuals, produced forged documents for those liable for military service regarding the health status of their relatives.

The fake certificates stated that family members of those liable for military service, due to serious illnesses, are unable to move independently and require non-professional care.

Based on such documents, men arranged deferments from service for themselves as persons caring for relatives," the prosecutor's office statement reads.

According to law enforcement, at least seven clients used such services, and the provision of fake documents was advertised through Telegram channels.

The completed documents were sent to customers by mail.

"During searches of the suspect, blank medical certificate forms with seals, medical books, dozens of seals and stamps, as well as already filled-out medical documents were seized," the statement reads.

Currently, other individuals involved in the production of forged documents that allowed men to avoid military service are being identified.
