In June 2026, Russia's artillery losses were the highest since the start of the full-scale invasion. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 2,074 units of this weaponry were hit last month, reports UNN citing a statement from the Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that, for comparison, in May, 1,993 units of enemy artillery were destroyed and put out of action — that is over 110 standard artillery battalions.
