The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) carried out more than 400 attacks on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, including air strikes and artillery fire, after the resumption of combat

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Saturday that it continues to strike the Gaza Strip, UNN reports.

Over the past 24 hours, the IDF struck more than 400 terrorist targets throughout the Gaza Strip. Overnight, IAF fighter jets struck more than 50 targets in the Khan Younis area,

the IDF reported on social media.

IDF troops reportedly struck at Hamas militants and infrastructure in the Beit Lahiya area, opening fire from tanks and conducting air strikes. It is also reported that the Israeli army conducted artillery fire and air strikes in the north of the Gaza Strip. "These strikes included an aircraft strike on a terrorist cell that was ambushing IDF troops, as well as a fighter jet strike on a mosque used by Islamic Jihad as an operational command center," the IDF reported.

In addition, IDF forces reportedly carried out other strikes, targeting weapons depots and infrastructure "to rebuild Hamas' terrorist capabilities."

It is also stated that during the night, the Israeli Navy "conducted a targeted operational operation in Khan Younis Harbor and Deir el-Balas in the southern Gaza Strip, during which it struck Hamas military sites using precision munitions, as well as strikes on infrastructure and equipment used by the Hamas Navy."

"IDF troops also interfered with the activities of terrorist cells and fired at terrorist targets in the northern Gaza Strip," the statement said.

As a reminder

On December 1, after a seven-day ceasefire during which some Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners were released, the IDF resumed hostilities against Hamas in the Gaza Strip due to a violation of the operational pause by Hamas.
