HACC approved the agreement with ex-deputy Kormyshkina: 5 years were replaced with a suspended sentence

On March 21, 2025, the High Anti-Corruption Court approved an agreement on recognition of guilt concluded between the SAP prosecutor and former Verkhovna Rada deputy Iryna Kormyshkina and her husband. The ex-MP was sentenced to five years of imprisonment, which was replaced by two years of probation, UNN writes with reference to SAP.

As UNN learned from its own sources, it is about former MP Iryna Kormyshkina. She is accused of declaring false information.

"According to the agreement, the court found the former people's deputy guilty of committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 366-2, Part 1 of Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and her husband - Part 2 of Article 209, Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the statement reads.

The court sentenced the former MP to five years of imprisonment with a fine of 4,000 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (68,000 UAH). Kormyshkina will also be deprived of the right to hold positions related to the performance of state or local self-government functions for a term of two years.

Her husband was sentenced to five years of imprisonment with a fine of UAH 68,000. He is also deprived of the right to hold positions related to the performance of state or local self-government functions for a term of two years.

At the same time, the court decided, on the basis of Article 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, to release these persons from serving the main sentence in the form of imprisonment with probation, setting a probationary period of two years.

Also, the former MP undertakes to transfer 20 million hryvnias to the state budget. In addition, the defendants must transfer two million hryvnias to the needs of the Armed Forces.

In October 2024, Iryna Kormyshkina, then still a people's deputy (previous surname — Allakhverdieva), was notified of suspicion of illegal enrichment.

The HACC applied personal guarantee to Kormyshkina. Davyd Arakhamia and Vitaliy Kim were identified as guarantors.

In January 2025, Kormyshkina was notified of a new suspicion of entering false information into the e-declaration.

The investigation established that in the declaration for 2023, she did not reflect information about the residential building in which she lives, and land plots near Odesa worth more than UAH 17 million, which were purchased at the expense of unjustified assets.

In addition, in January, her husband Yuriy Kormyshkin, who is accused of laundering more than 20 million hryvnias and submitting false information in the declaration, was notified of suspicion.

In February, the Verkhovna Rada voted to terminate the deputy powers of Iryna Kormyshkina.
