The UN Secretary-General emphasized that Ukraine has a legitimate government that must be respected. He also noted that the UN is not currently involved in negotiations for a ceasefire in the Black Sea.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres rejected the Russian dictator's call to establish a "temporary administration" in Ukraine. He stressed that there is a legitimate government in Kyiv, reports UNN.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin proposed to introduce a "temporary administration under the auspices of the UN" in Ukraine in order to hold elections in the country. The White House said that the government in Ukraine is determined by its Constitution and people.
