Georgia has reduced the visa-free period for Ukrainians from three years to one year

Citizens of Ukraine will be able to stay in Georgia without a visa for only one year. For those who entered before February 24, 2025, the term has been extended until 2026.

The term of visa-free stay for Ukrainian citizens in Georgia has been reduced from three years to one. The relevant amendments to the government decree were made by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, reports UNN.
Citizens of Ukraine have the right to enter Georgia without a visa and stay in the country for one full year
In addition, the right of stay will be extended until February 24, 2026 for citizens of Ukraine who entered and stayed in Georgia before February 24, 2025.

According to "News Georgia", in February 2023, the Georgian authorities allowed Ukrainians to stay in the country without visas for two years. In April 2024, the term was extended to three years.
