According to Artyukh, the main sign of the situation in Sumy region in recent days is air strikes. They are using guided aerial bombs, including new modernized bombs that were flying at the city of Sumy yesterday. The enemy has also started using FAB-500 (north of Sumy), the RMA head noted.
"Unfortunately, yesterday there were five civilians wounded," said the head of Sumy region, "To ensure the safety of the population of the border communities, we continue to take evacuation measures. As of today, we have several options and methods of evacuation. A year ago in July, we announced the evacuation of 115 settlements within the 5-kilometer zone. Today, this evacuation continues. In addition, we have announced a mandatory evacuation and a forced evacuation for families with children in the Seredina-Buda and Velykopysarivska communities.
