Explosions over Isfahan are the work of air defense systems, says Iranian army chief

The explosions over the Iranian city of Isfahan were caused by volleys from air defense systems aimed at a suspicious object, according to the Iranian army commander-in-chief.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army said that the explosions in the sky over Isfahan province were caused by the launch of missiles from anti-aircraft systems at a suspicious object. This was reported by the official Iranian news agency IRNA, UNN reports citing CNN.
Experts are investigating this incident and will report back after receiving the results
The commander-in-chief's comments coincide with an earlier report that there was no "damage or incidents" in the area after the explosion.
The senior commander also said that the explosion was caused by "air defense work on a suspicious object.

At night, Israel launched a missile strike on Iranian territory, and an explosion occurred at the airport in Isfahan. The United States received advance notice of the planned strike, but did not approve a response. According to intelligence reports, Iran will not respond to strikes likely to be carried out by Israel on its territory.
And before that, Iran launched a massive missile and drone strike on Israel, claiming it was a response to the attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria.
