"Driver's license ready in a few days": fraudsters in Ukraine offer "assistance" with exams at MIA service centers
Kyiv • UNN
Fraudsters promise assistance with exams at MIA service centers to extort money. The police urge citizens not to transfer funds to private bank cards.

The National Police of Ukraine reported that scammers are actively exploiting the topic of taking exams at Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers, specifically promising assistance in passing the exam, UNN reports.
Scammers are actively using the topic of taking exams at MIA service centers. They promise "assistance," a "guaranteed result," or "skipping the line." Such offers are spread through fake social media accounts posing as MIA service centers. At first glance, this seems like a quick solution for obtaining a driver's license
The National Police emphasized that in reality, citizens are offered a way to quickly obtain a driver's license, and for this, they are asked to transfer money to a private card; they may also be asked to send copies of documents. However, after this, the money disappears; the "intermediary" no longer responds; and they had no influence on the exam whatsoever.
The police added that to appear convincing, scammers use in their accounts and groups: the name of an MIA service center with a specific number; real photos from official MIA service center resources; fake "customer" reviews who supposedly received an official driver's license; and the operating schedules and official phone numbers of MIA service centers.
Do not transfer money to strangers. No MIA service center sells driver's licenses online. Remember: there are no paid "aids" or "expediting services" at MIA service centers. The only way is to pass the exam officially. Driver's documents are issued according to a single algorithm for everyone

The National Bank of Ukraine detected a fraudulent campaign involving the distribution of emails with malicious attachments that mimic an official letter from the NBU.
