In Irpin, a 61-year-old driver hit a girl while changing lanes. The victim is in critical condition, and the perpetrator of the accident has been detained by law enforcement.
In Kyiv region, a driver hit a minor, the child is in critical condition, the prosecutor's office is conducting procedural supervision, UNN reports with reference to the Kyiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office.
Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the Bucha District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a road traffic accident that resulted in injuries to a minor child (Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to law enforcement officers, on April 14, in Irpin, a "Renault Megane" driver, while changing lanes, hit a 13-year-old girl who was crossing the road.
As a result of the accident, the child sustained severe bodily injuries. Currently, the girl is in a coma, and doctors are fighting for her life.
The 61-year-old driver, according to preliminary data, was sober. The man has been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, the prosecutors added.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and all circumstances of the road traffic accident are being established.
