Ukrainian intelligence has published information on more than 60 foreign machine tools used by enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published information on more than 60 foreign machine tools used by the Russian military-industrial complex. This was reported by UNN with reference to the GUR.

Details

Detailed information was published in the "Tools of War" section of the "War&Sanctions" portal. This concerns more than 60 units of foreign equipment used by Russian developers and manufacturers of parts and components for aircraft, missiles, and submarines.

The list also includes enterprises involved in the technological equipment of Russian defense plants.

The recent update to the "War&Sanctions" portal includes lathes, milling machines, band saws, screw-cutting machines, grinding machines, and other CNC (computer numerical control) machine tools. These machines operate at the following Russian enterprises:

  • The "Fakel" Machine-Building Design Bureau, also known as "OKB-2," which is one of the oldest Soviet-Russian design bureaus and specializes in the development of anti-aircraft guided missiles;
    • The "Sozvezdie" Concern, which unites enterprises for the development and production of electronic warfare and communication equipment;
      • The "Proton" Joint-Stock Company, which produces diode modules for the S-71 "Kovyor" air-launched cruise missiles.

        In total, the "Tools of War" section of the "War&Sanctions" portal contains information on 1,635 units of foreign equipment. They are used at 218 enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex.
