Demchenko: Truck traffic on the Ukrainian-Polish border has resumed, which was hampered due to a malfunction in the Polish customs service system

Around 4 a.m., truck traffic resumed at checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border, which had been hampered by a malfunction of the Polish customs service. However, Polish farmers continue to block two checkpoints, where about 800 trucks are waiting in lines.

This was stated by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during the telethon, UNN reports .

Luckily, at around 4 a.m., the clearance resumed. On the Polish territory, the customs database started working again, and therefore the clearance of trucks resumed at all checkpoints, because this situation concerned all directions, all checkpoints on the border with Poland. If we talk about the situation that we have been facing for a long time - the blocking of traffic for trucks - unfortunately, the blocking of two directions continues: Yagodyn and Rava-Ruska. In total, as of this morning, about 800 trucks are waiting in queues on the territory of Poland at these two directions to cross into our country

He noted that in the direction of the Yahodyn checkpoint, Polish farmers do not let trucks traveling from Ukraine to Poland through at all.

Yesterday, in the direction of the Rava-Ruska crossing point, the Polish side did start letting through a certain number of trucks traveling from Ukraine to Poland. Before that, we also had zero border crossings in this direction. Over the past day, at least 70 trucks have already crossed. The situation is somewhat better in the direction of Ukraine, as a certain number of trucks can cross the border towards our country every day. In fact, Polish farmers let several trucks cross the border per hour
