The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine did not record any attempts by Russian troops to enter the territory of Sumy region. The terrain there is swampy, which makes it difficult for the enemy to gain a foothold in these positions.

The State Border Guard Service said that it did not record any attempts by Russian units to enter Sumy region. This was reported to UNN by the SBGS spokesman Andriy Demchenko, who added that it is difficult for the enemy to advance in that area, as the terrain is swampy and it is not easy to gain a foothold there.

Demchenko commented on the information of Deep state that the Russians allegedly entered the territory of the Sumy region and they managed to seize the territory of the border zone near the village of Alexandria.

Border units in that direction, within their area of responsibility and holding positions, did not record attempts by Russian units to enter the territory of Ukraine. There was also no information from other units of the Constituent Defense Forces of Ukraine that are in that direction. It is also worth noting that it is difficult for the enemy to attack in that area in the Sumy region, because the area is swampy and it is quite difficult to gain a foothold there

- Demchenko said.

However, he noted that it should always be remembered that the border line with Russia is actually the front line, where the Defense Forces hold their positions to counteract any attempts by the enemy to enter our territory.
