187 soldiers and 2 civilians were released from Russian captivity as part of the 59th exchange. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 3956 people have been released, including 1358 Ukrainians in 2023.
187 Ukrainian soldiers and 2 civilians returned from Russian captivity. The defenders were greeted on their return home and are now undergoing rehabilitation.

This is the 59th exchange since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. In total, the Coordination Center, on behalf of the President of Ukraine, has managed to liberate 3956 people.
In particular, this year 1358 Ukrainians were released, including both military and civilians. This year, we also managed to return our military, who were convicted by Russia for the so-called “sentences”.
