This palace can hardly be called an ordinary dwelling, as it has 775 rooms and hosts about 50,000 guests annually at official events such as receptions, dinners, and state banquets, as stated on the royal family's website.

In addition, hundreds of thousands of tourists visit the palace every year. According to Statista, in 2023-2024, Buckingham Palace attracted about 530,000 tourists. Visitors not only admire the majestic architecture but also watch the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony.
