Brovary is actively clearing snow: equipment and workers are involved

In Brovary community, 14 units of special equipment and 76 employees were engaged in snow removal. Utilities are working to ensure safety on roads, sidewalks and bus stops.
The heavy snowfall that covered the Kyiv region did not come as a surprise to the Brovary community. Utilities are actively working to ensure comfort and safety for residents. According to Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko, special equipment has been deployed to clear roads, sidewalks and public stops, and teams are also working manually, UNN reports.
In particular, 9 units of special equipment and 62 employees are involved in Brovary , 2 units of equipment and 5 people work in the village of Knyazhichi, and 3 units of equipment and 9 employees are being cleared in the village of Trebukhov.
Mayor Igor Sapozhko stressed that the authorities are making every effort to quickly respond to the challenges of winter.
"We understand how important it is to quickly deal with snow so that roads and sidewalks remain safe for people. Our utilities work without interruptions, using all available resources. We are doing everything possible to ensure the comfort of residents during this winter period," — said Igor Sapozhko in a comment to UNN.
In addition, the mayor appealed to residents to be careful on the roads and not leave cars on the roadsides, so as not to complicate the work of Public Utilities.

In total, according to the Brovarsky mayor, more than 40 pieces of equipment were prepared for snowfall and ice this year. These are, in particular, 14 combined road vehicles for clearing snow and 11 units of tractor equipment for loading sand and salt mixture. Also, 3 thousand tons of sand and salt mixture are ready and 400 tons of salt have been purchased for processing roads and sidewalks.
