President Zelenskyy said that the UK has slowed down its support for Ukraine, especially with regard to long-range weapons. Ukraine will intensify diplomatic efforts to obtain bold decisions from its partners.

Britain has shown real leadership in supporting Ukraine with weapons, politically and otherwise. However, the situation has now slowed down, and Ukraine wants to discuss how to fix it, especially with regard to the use of long-range weapons. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening address, according to UNN

Throughout this war, we have seen Britain demonstrate true leadership. In arms, in politics, and in supporting the life of Ukrainian society. This is what saved thousands of our people. This is what truly reflects Britain's strength. But now, unfortunately, the situation has slowed down. We will discuss how to fix it. Because long-range capability is really a fundamental thing for us. And the whole world sees how effective Ukrainians - our entire nation - are when they defend their independence

- Zelensky said.

He indicated that Ukrainian diplomatic work would be intensified.  According to him, Ukraine  will insist that bold steps and bold decisions are needed. “We need something that really changes the course of the war, leads it to a just peace, to a real end - exactly what we need. And we need all the partners who can really help to help. These are the United States, Britain, France and other partners,” the President emphasized.

The United Kingdom did not authorize Ukraine to use Storm Shadow missiles to attack the Kursk region. The British government confirms that the provided weapons are intended only for the defense of Ukraine.

According to The Times, the United States actually prohibits the United Kingdom from granting Ukraine permission to launch Storm Shadow missiles into Russia because of the Biden administration's concerns about a possible escalation of the war.
