Boeing and Antonov to cooperate in defense projects

Boeing and Antonov sign a memorandum of understanding on potential cooperation in the production of drones in Ukraine. The agreement provides for training, logistics support, and repair of tactical UAVs for the Armed Forces, including ScanEagle.
On July 23, the American corporation Boeing and the Ukrainian company Antonov signed a preliminary memorandum that could facilitate the joint production of drones in Ukraine. This is stated on the Boeing website, UNN reports .
Details
The agreement identifies the following areas of potential cooperation: training, logistics support and overhaul services for tactical unmanned aerial systems used by the Armed Forces, including ScanEagle. In addition, the companies will also explore opportunities for Antonov to provide engineering support to Boeing.

Antonov CEO Yevhen Havrylov said that the deal could contribute to the further development of Ukraine's defense industry, "in addition to the possibility of future projects with Boeing in the aerospace and defense industries.
