belarus has launched military exercises in the regions bordering Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland to assess readiness, improve skills and prepare personnel for territorial defense tasks.
On Tuesday, April 2, belarus launched military exercises in two regions bordering Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense of belarus, UNN reports.

It is noted that within the framework of a comprehensive inspection of the territorial defense of the Gomel region, from April 2 to 4, under the leadership of the military commissioner of the Gomel region, a command and staff exercise will be held with the territorial defense forces of the Rogachev and Kormyansky districts.
As explained by the belarusian Ministry of Defense, the purpose of the exercise is to assess the readiness of the leadership of military units to perform training and combat missions, improve the skills of reserve officers in leading subordinates, and train personnel to perform their duties in solving territorial defense tasks.
Similar classes will be held from April 2 to 4 in the Voronov district of the Grodno region.

The Ministry of Defense also said that from April 2 to 26, a training camp with territorial troops subject to military service will be held under the leadership of the head of the Vileika District Executive Committee of Minsk Oblast.
During the training, it is planned to work out the issues of protection and defense of the territorial defense facility, as well as participation in martial law measures with the involvement of volunteers of the people's militia
In addition, during the training, it is planned to prepare conscripts to perform tasks in accordance with their military specialties and job assignments, to restore the skills of the command staff of the district and battalion headquarters of the territorial troops in managing subordinates, and to practice the formation, training and use of a people's militia unit.
