It depicts a gorilla lifting the shutters to let the sea lion and birds out, while other animals are probably watching from inside.
Banksy published his new work on Instagram .
This is the ninth work by Banksy to appear in London in the last few days, and it follows images of a goat, elephants, monkeys, wolf, pelicans, cat, piranhas and rhinoceros that have appeared every morning since August 5.
Daniel Simmonds, a representative of the London Zoo, said that the work will be preserved.
Daniel Simmonds, Animal Manager at London Zoo, said: "Banksy has become part of the London scene and it's great to see his iconic status shared with, after all, one of the most iconic zoos in the world.
"I think it's absolutely brilliant," he told BBC News.
He said that the employees had no idea that Banksy was planning to work at this location.
Simmonds said that today the shutters will remain closed, and two others will be used instead so that visitors can see the work.
He added that he expects more people to come today in addition to the thousands who have already booked tickets.
"We will definitely keep it. We may even consider covering it with plexiglass," said Simmonds.
Banksy's team told the BBC that the latest work will be the final part of the series, which has been attracting the attention of Banksy fans for more than a week.
Two works - two elephants and a rhinoceros - have since been reportedly partially defaced after being unveiled. Two more have been removed, the publication notes.
