Average salary in Ukraine increased by 23% over the year

The average monthly salary in Ukraine increased by 22.7% to UAH 17,937 in Q3, with the largest growth in the IT and financial sectors.
The average monthly salary in Ukraine in the third quarter increased by 22.7% compared to the same period last year and amounted to UAH 17,937. This was reported on Thursday, December 21, by the State Statistics Service, UNN reports.

It is noted that the largest among the sectors of the of the economy, this indicator is the largest:
- in the field of information and telecommunications - UAH 37,542 (+20.3% compared to the third quarter of 2022 year),
- in the financial and insurance sector - UAH 34,189 (+29.8%),
- in air transport - UAH 33,205 (+21.9%).
The lowest level of average wages has been recorded:
- in the field of library, archival and museum affairs - UAH 11,373 (+9,9%),
- in the field of creativity, art and entertainment - UAH 11,503 (+7.4%),
- in education - UAH 12,180 (+8.2%).
