Attempt to bribe top officials in the field of recovery: MP Labaziuk is served a notice of suspicion

MP Serhiy Labaziuk was served with a notice of suspicion of bribing the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine and the head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure.
MP Serhiy Labaziuk of the For the Future group was served with a notice of suspicion of bribing the Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine and the head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine. As UNN learned from its own sources, this is MP Serhiy Labaziuk.
On behalf of the head of the SAPO, the prosecutor served a notice of suspicion to the current MP, who was caught giving undue advantage to the Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine - Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Head of the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine
Also, under the procedural guidance of SAPO prosecutors, NABU detectives served a notice of suspicion to the MP's accomplice, the head of a business entity.
The actions of the persons are qualified on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

It is reported that the investigation of this criminal offense was made possible by the personal assistance of the Prosecutor General.
"It has been established that a member of the Ukrainian parliament, acting in prior conspiracy with the director of a joint-stock company, offered top officials an undue benefit for the allocation of UAH 1 billion in additional funding for works performed by the company under their control. The proposed amount of the unlawful benefit was to be from 3% to 5% of the amount of funding," the report says.
The SAPO reports that the suspects subsequently provided a part of this unlawful benefit in the amount of USD 150 thousand to persons holding a particularly responsible position.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Other persons who may be involved in the commission of this crime are being identified.
The SAPO noted that the Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine cooperated with NABU and the SAPO and facilitated the investigation of illegal actions.
