In the first 6 months of 2024, law enforcement officers registered 116 criminal proceedings under Article 342 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on resistance to police officers and military personnel, but only 43 of them went to court.

Among the cases initiated under the article on resistance to the military, 22 were closed, in particular, on the grounds of the absence of a criminal offense. Except for 43 cases, the remaining proceedings have not yet reached the court.

In addition, 240 cases were initiated under another article - obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces. However, most of them did not go to trial either. Thus, only 30 of them were sent to court.

Recently, local residents of the village of Vorokhta in Ivano-Frankivsk region attacked the car of the TCC employees, protesting against the verification of documents of persons liable for military service. As a result, a military CCC employee was injured.

Then the police opened criminal proceedings over the attack on the vehicle of the military of the TCC under two articles, including obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces (Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code).
