In the capital of Ukraine, on April 6, 2024, at 11:50 a.m., an attack took place on the employees of the Desnyansky TCC at 6 Shalom Aleichem Street while they were talking to a person liable for military service.
Molderf Tymofiy Arkadiyovych, born in 1972, struck one of the servicemen in the head and then tried to stab another. The attacker threatened and continued the attack.
The soldiers, holding the attacker at a safe distance, called the police. The investigative team of the Desnianskyi Police Department made the arrest and took away the material evidence.
Tymofii Arkadiiovych Molderf is currently being detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (carrying, manufacturing, repairing or selling cold steel without a permit) have been initiated. The article provides for up to three years in prison.
In addition, the issue of including the information in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations for threatening to kill is being considered. The article provides for arrest for up to six months or restraint of liberty for up to two years. The sentence will be determined by the court.
