A group of 56 MPs filed a petition with the Constitutional Court to review the constitutionality of involving foreigners in competitions for government jobs. The petition concerns the participation of international experts in the formation of anti-corruption and law enforcement agencies.

More than 50 MPs sent a submission to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine to check the constitutionality of holding competitions for state bodies with the participation of international experts, UNN reports with reference to the CCU.
"On December 20, 2024, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine received a constitutional petition from 56 MPs of Ukraine, in which the authors of the petition ask to check for compliance with the Basic Law of Ukraine certain provisions of the legislative acts of Ukraine regulating the procedure for the formation of state authorities and control over their activities with the involvement of foreign citizens and representatives of international organizations," the statement said.
The MPs note that "the constitutional petition was filed due to the fact that in the process of reforming Ukraine's state bodies, international experts have been involved in the formation of key institutions, including anti-corruption, law enforcement and judicial bodies, as well as in monitoring their activities on a systematic basis.
