According to Zhelezniak, MPs voted for the bill with 287 votes.

As MP Oleksiy Honcharenko clarified in Telegram, the bill is about amendments to the law "On Prevention of Corruption" to bring certain provisions in line with the conclusions of the European Commission on Ukraine (No. 10262).

"The European Commission in its report drew attention to the need to abolish restrictions on the NACP's powers to continue verification of assets that have already been verified and to verify property acquired by declarants before their appointment to a civil service position, without prejudice to the rules applicable to national security during martial law. This is one of the important conditions for further European integration," the MP said.

As a reminder,

the Verkhovna Rada passed in the first reading a bill to increase the staff of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) to 1,000 people, which is also a requirement of the European Commission.
