It is reported that the incident occurred in the entrance of a multi-story building on Mikheev Street. The unknown person fired several shots at the businessman with a firearm. The wounded man survived and was hospitalized.
According to Russian media, the attack occurred around one in the morning when Cherezov returned home and was opening the door to his apartment.
