Over the past day, 165 combat clashes were recorded at the front, a third of which were in the Pokrovsky direction. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
165 battles took place on the front line last day, about a third of them in the Pokrovsk direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning report on March 25, showing a map of hostilities for March 24, writes UNN.

Yesterday, the enemy launched 76 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 101 CABs. In addition, he carried out 6,261 shellings, including 142 from rocket salvo fire systems, and used 2,640 kamikaze drones for the attack.
"Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 15 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one cannon and a command post of the enemy," the statement reads.
Situation by directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried three times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the direction of Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, six attacks by invaders took place yesterday. Our defenders stopped the assault actions of the enemy in the areas of Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 24 times. He tried to wedge himself into our defense near Kolodyaz, Yampolivka and towards Stepovoy, Novomykhailivka, Novy, Zarichny.
In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces stopped six offensive actions of the invaders near Bilohorivka and towards Verkhnyokamyansky.
In the Kramatorsk direction, five combat engagements were recorded yesterday in the area of Chasovy Yar and in the direction of Diliivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks in the area of Toretsk and near Diliivka, Dachny, Krymsky.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 53 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropol, Yelizavetivka, Lisivka, Kotline, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and towards Pokrovsk, Kotlyarivka, Bohdanivka, Oleksiivka.
In the Novopavlivsky direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks yesterday near the settlement of Kostyantynopol and towards Rozliv and Vesely.
In the Huliaipilsky direction, the Defense Forces stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance in the area of the settlement of Novopil and in the direction of Vilne Pole.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice unsuccessfully tried to advance towards Lobkovo.
No combat engagements were recorded in the Pridniprovsky direction over the past day.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polisky directions.
"The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue the operation in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy launched 16 air strikes, dropping 20 CABs in the process, and carried out 302 shellings, of which seven were from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders stopped 18 assault actions of the invaders," the statement said.
