Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for a simple croissant and vegetable sandwich that requires no cooking. To prepare it, you will need croissants, fresh vegetables, yogurt, and mustard.

You don't always need electricity or gas to make a nutritious snack. A vegetable-filled croissant sandwich is a great option for a quick breakfast, snack at work, or lunch on the go. This was reported by UNN , referring to the cooking recommendations from Yevhen Klopotenko.

Ingredients and step-by-step recipe:

Ingredients

You will need 2 croissants, 1 cucumber, 1 tomato, 1 blue onion, 2 sprigs of parsley, 2 tbsp of thick white yogurt, 4 lettuce leaves, 4 tsp of mustard seeds.

CookingPreparation

-        Cut the croissants down the middle, not to the edge. Wash and dry the vegetables.

-        In a bowl, mix the yogurt with the finely chopped parsley and brush the inside of the croissants.

-        Cut the cucumber into thin slices, the tomato into slices, and the onion into half rings.

-        Put lettuce leaves inside the croissants, top with cucumber, tomato and onion. Add 2 tsp of mustard and salt to taste.

Additional tips from the chef

To make the vegetable croissant: Choose fresh croissants or bake them yourself if you can. Use pickled onions for a richer flavor. Vegetables can be changed as desired - add bell peppers, avocado, or replace parsley with dill or cilantro for variety.

Enjoy and easy cooking!
