A new profession focused on countering technical intelligence has emerged in Ukraine

The State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine has developed the professional standard "Specialist in Countering Technical Intelligence," which has been entered into the Unified Register of Qualifications. It defines job functions, competencies, and education requirements for personnel training.
A new profession has emerged in Ukraine’s information protection sector: a new professional standard, "Counter-Technical Intelligence Specialist," has been added to the Unified Register of Qualifications—the classifier of professions. This was reported by the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, according to UNN.

As noted by the State Special Communications Service, the professional standard defines:
- the job functions of a counter-technical intelligence specialist;
- the necessary professional competencies;
- requirements for education, knowledge, practical skills, and more.
The new professional standard will be used to train personnel at educational institutions, assess professional qualifications, and enable employers to formulate clear requirements for employees. This will unify approaches to the training and certification of specialists, improve the quality of personnel training, and ensure that their competencies meet current security challenges in the security and defense sector, public administration, and business
