A 31-year-old Kyiv resident has been remanded in custody for 60 days without the right to bail. He faces up to 15 years or life imprisonment for the premeditated murder of a doctor during a military medical commission.
A Kyiv resident who inflicted seventeen stab wounds on a military medical commission doctor has been taken into custody without the possibility of bail. As reported by the capital's prosecutor's office, the suspect will undergo an outpatient forensic psychiatric examination to determine his condition during the medical examination, reports UNN.

As reported by UNN, the Kyiv resident is suspected of the premeditated murder of a surgeon during a military medical commission at the Podilskyi District Military Commissariat and Social Support Center in Kyiv.
The man inflicted about 17 chaotic stab wounds to the chest, neck, and arms of the 55-year-old woman. She died at the scene from the injuries sustained.
The suspect's actions have been classified as premeditated murder of a person in connection with the performance of their official duty (paragraph 8, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
For the committed crime, the man faces from ten to fifteen years in prison or life imprisonment.

The capital's prosecutor's office added that the suspect will undergo an outpatient forensic psychiatric examination to determine his condition during the medical examination.
Furthermore, as part of the pre-trial investigation initiated under part 3 of article 367 of the Criminal Code, it is being established how the man entered the military medical commission premises with a knife.
