On Tuesday, a helicopter carrying a guide and tourists crashed in the Swiss Alps. Three people were killed and three others were injured. This was reported by the Associated Press with reference to the local police, UNN reports.

Reportedly, at some point, a light helicopter took off from a landing pad near the 3,668-meter-high Petit Combin peak in southwestern Switzerland.
Seven rescue helicopters were dispatched to the area of the crash and helped to get two people out of the helicopter and transport them to the nearest hospital. Another person was reportedly also rescued. However, three people were found dead.
Police did not specify who the victims and injured were. Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the crash.
Earlier UNN reported that five skiers who went missing during a ski tour in Switzerland were found dead.
