Halyna Hranovska, a transplant coordinator, became a posthumous kidney donor for two patients. Her daughter made the decision to donate, knowing that her mother had always helped people and would have wanted to do the same.

Halyna Hranovska, a 55-year-old transplant coordinator at the Khmelnytsky Regional Hospital, became a posthumous donor for two women with kidney failure. The woman had a congenital heart defect and vascular problems and suffered a stroke - doctors were unable to save her colleague. Halyna Hranovska's daughter Polina decided that her mother could save the lives of the patients and decided to donate posthumously.
I know for sure that my mother would have wanted this.
According to the doctor's daughter, whenever her mother was asked for help, she always responded - day and night.
And the opportunity to do a good deed at the end of her life was definitely important to her
It is stated that the life-saving organ transplants were performed by specialists of the Transplantology Center of the First Medical Association of Lviv.
