Israel and Hamas begin a four-day ceasefire mediated by Qatar, which provides for the release of hostages and prisoners, as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

According to Qatari mediators, at 16:00 local time, 13 hostages will be released 13 hostages held in Gaza, followed by an unspecified number of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails.
Over the next four days, at least 50 women and children are scheduled to be released, while approximately 190 will remain in the hands of Palestinian terrorists.
