296 clashes took place at the front, the enemy launched over 7,000 drones. The AFU eliminated 1,000 occupiers and destroyed over 1,300 UAVs in the past 24 hours.
Over the past day, May 26, 296 combat engagements took place on the front line. The enemy carried out 76 airstrikes, dropping 239 guided aerial bombs. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the AFU.

The adversary also employed 7,089 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,568 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 36 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck seven areas of enemy manpower concentration, one cannon, and one other important enemy target.
Over the past day, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,000 personnel. Additionally, one tank, three armored fighting vehicles, 39 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 10 ground robotic systems, 1,307 unmanned aerial vehicles, 271 units of motor vehicles, and three units of special equipment of the enemy were neutralized.
The situation on the front sectors is as follows:
In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, over the past day, the aggressor launched two airstrikes using six KABs, carried out 87 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas, including two using MLRS. Nine enemy assault actions were recorded.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the adversary attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 13 times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsya, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Hraniv, Ternova, Lyman, and Kolodyazne.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance toward the settlements of Kupyansk, Kurylivka, Borova, Kolisnykivka, and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, the adversary tried to wedge into the Ukrainian defense 12 times toward Lyman, Drobysheve, Dibrova, and in the area of Yampil.
In the Slovyansk direction, the adversary stormed eight times toward the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted one offensive action in the area of Tykhonivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 26 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward the settlements of Mykolaipillya, Vilne, and Kucheriv Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 53 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Kotlyne, Horikhove, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne, and toward the settlements of Shevchenko, Bilytske, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivsk direction, the adversary attacked once, in the area of the settlement of Novokhatske.
In the Hulyaypole direction, the occupiers carried out 35 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillya, Zlahoda, Hulyaypole, Solodke, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, and toward Nove Zaporizhzhia, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance in the direction of Shcherbaky, Stepnohirsk, and Bilohirya.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy attacked twice toward Bilohrudyi Island.
