Zelenskyy discussed joint production of interceptors for Patriot with Raytheon

Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Raytheon team led by Vice President Joseph DeAntona. During the talks, the parties discussed the development of cooperation. The President of Ukraine reported this in his Telegram channel, reports UNN.

"I held a meeting with the Raytheon team led by Vice President Joseph DeAntona. Raytheon is a very strong defense company, and Ukraine has long been using its equipment to protect our people from brutal Russian attacks. I am grateful for the company's readiness to take our partnership to an even higher level, when Ukraine will jointly produce with Raytheon one of the most important air defense assets – interceptors for Patriots. President Trump and I discussed this in Ankara, and it is time to move in this direction," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.

Also, during the meeting, the parties further considered opportunities for cooperation in the field of non-offensive military equipment.

"During the meeting, we also discussed other areas of partnership related to non-offensive military equipment. Our teams – at the government level and from the private sector – will be in contact to finalize everything. I thank the United States for supporting Ukraine," the president emphasized.

Reminder

President Trump granted Ukraine permission to produce missiles for the Patriot air defense system. Lockheed Martin supported the decision, and Zelenskyy stated that it is technically possible by the end of 2026.
