In response to trade restrictions imposed by the United States, the Vietnamese government has decided to step up purchases of American defense and security equipment.
According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin, in addition to increasing procurement in the field of national security, Hanoi intends to speed up the delivery of passenger aircraft that were previously ordered from US manufacturers. This step is part of a broader strategy aimed at mitigating the effects of trade restrictions that put pressure on the export-dependent economy.
